How to make Instant Pot Cauliflower?
Ingredients:
- 1 small head cauliflower (1 1/2 to 2 pounds)
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (zest from 1/2 lemon)

Recipe:
Choose a fresh piece of small cauliflower from the market and avoid frozen vegetables. I grew mine in our backyard and they turned out to be perfect.
Run them under cold water for two minutes for thorough cleaning.
Cut the cauliflower into small florets. They should be bite-sized so you can eat them easily.
One piece of cauliflower should be enough for 4 people. Take half cup water and put it in the instant pot to make instant pot cauliflower.
Add the florets into the pot as well, then set the heat and pressure settings of the pot to pressure cook and keep it there for 3 minutes.
Some people might prefer 1 to 2 minutes of cook time but in my experience, those florets with less cook time remain a little too much crisp. 3 minutes was my perfect timing. You can change as per your liking.
Now it’s time for our special trick. Instead of normally opening the pot, perform the quick release by opening the valve and letting the steam quickly come out of the pan
Once all the steam is gone, open the lid and taste the cauliflower. It should be perfectly crispy not too hard nor too mushy.
Seasonings are the best part of any dish they either accentuate the flavor or totally ruin it. So carefully select your seasonings. In my opinion lemon zest, olive oil, salt and pepper, and Italian seasoning might be perfect for this dish.
After seasoning, carefully pan out your instant pot cauliflower and enjoy it with your family.
