Best Restaurants in London

Where to eat in London is surely the question that every Londoner or traveler has asked at some point. This is because in the city there are more restaurant offers than anything else. Everyone wants to eat in the Best Restaurants In London.

Deciding on a place to eat in London can take hours of searching, especially if it is for a special occasion or if you have a more limited budget.

I am going to suggest a list of places to eat in London according to your budget, starting from cheaper restaurants that you can go to even on a daily basis, and also the more fancy restaurants in the city, for a date or special occasion.

Persepolis Peckham

Best Restaurants in London

This store and restaurant located in the lively Peckham neighborhood could be described as a burst of color and contrasts of Mediterranean, and Eastern-Lebanese flavors.

The proposal is based solely on vegetarian food. The small restaurant is almost always full, and while the value for money is pretty good, don’t expect to see the food tray arrive right away.

However, far from turning the experience into a tedious wait until you get a couple of simple dishes, the place invites interaction, offering teas and drinks to make the wait more enjoyable and dynamic.

It is the perfect place for a gathering of friends and for an informative meal where you risk trying a new concept of food.

One of the top-rated dishes is Meze, which costs just £ 5. If the result is to your liking, you can stop by the store and pick up one of the vegan-oriental cookbooks before you leave.

Regency cafe

Best Restaurants in London

Good and cheap. Simple as it sounds, Regency café is popularly known for its offering of typical English dishes. It deserves its place in this list of Best Restaurants In London.

Trying a full English breakfast, or full English breakfast is an experience that you cannot miss if you visit the United Kingdom. Not suitable for delicate stomachs.

The restaurant, with its art-deco style, has been a recording location for multiple series. Of course, do not expect to find the most instagrammable restaurant.

Plain and simple, a place to eat well, and cheap. And in the most authentic English style.

The menu offers simple dishes at such a low price that it will make you wonder if you are in the heart of London or in the Scottish countryside.

Only one of the dishes costs more than £ 7, incredible, huh?  To the question of where to eat cheap in London, the answer would definitely be Regency Café.

Pie and mash Goddards

Best Restaurants in London

More typical of London than Buckingham Palace. Mash and Pie is a traditional South London dish consisting basically of mashed potatoes and meat pie.

It was the favorite food of the working class in London a couple of centuries ago, and today it is still eaten as a typical dish in some parts of London.

The Goddards mash & Pie in Greenwich is one of the most famous in London, even celebrities like David Beckham have dropped in to try this typical dish.

Without a doubt, the establishment and the food combine perfectly with the charming neighborhood of Greenwich.

The restaurant is a family business that has been open since 1890, although it seems that they have adapted to the passing of time and even today they continue to offer quality products.

On their website, they offer home product batch service and even vegetarian options and delicious desserts.

The ivy Chelsea garden

Restaurants-in-london

If you have ever walked through the Chelsea neighborhood in London, you will undoubtedly have stopped to take a photo of yourself in the impressive facade of the Ivy Garden restaurant.

And if not, at least the exuberant hanging garden proposal that covers the entire wall of the establishment will have caught your attention.

Well, inside, far from following a more austere style, the restaurant offers an authentic garden decoration. With source included.

The most surprising thing of all is that despite all the parade of people who come decked out in the place, the prices are not as exorbitant as you can imagine.

The restaurant offers a variety of breakfast menus, a la carte menu, Brunch, or Afternoon tea. If you want to try the Afternoon tea experience, The Ivy Chelsea Garden has the option of around 19 pounds.

Where is it

Cantina del Ponte

Best Restaurants in London

If you love the Southbank area as much as I do, dining at Cantina del Ponte is a must. Situated overlooking Tower Bridge, but slightly off the beaten path of Southbank Promenade, the views of the river from the terrace are a real treat. It is definitely one of the best restaurants in London.

The restaurant competes with an authentic Italian Trattoria with its delicious dishes of Carpaccio, Burrata, and of course Spaghetti.

Along with a wine list that combined with the peaceful atmosphere of the area south of the River Thames, is certainly one of my top10  of  Where to eat in London, and is also the perfect place to end a visit to this popular area city.

Sometimes they celebrate special events set in the Italian culture like the night of the opera. You can see more events on their page.

Where is it

Address: 36c Shad Thames, London SE1 2YE, United Kingdom

Schedule

It opens two times a day from 7 am to 2:30 pm in the morning and 4 pm to 7:15 pm in the evening.

The average price is around +/- 20 pounds per person.
